Commuter CoffeeBRAKES offer free coffee, snacks and lots of information for students who live off campus. Stop by the office, room 119 in the Commons to fill out a quick survey and enjoy free food and good information from our co-sponsors.

The VCU Event & Conference Services Office is pleased to announce that it will be offering a University Events Workshop for faculty and staff on November 19, 2009. The workshop will take place in the University Student Commons, Richmond Salons from 11:00am – 12:00pm. The aim of this program is to provide campus program coordinators/event planners with the information necessary to produce events in USC&A managed facilities.

Workshop topics will include event checklists and time lines, using Virtual EMS and tips for effective meeting and event planning in USC&A managed facilities. We invite you to join us as we tackle event issues, discuss ideas and share best practices regarding University sponsored events. If you have a responsibility for planning meetings or events for your department we welcome you to the workshop.
