Summer Programs
Commencing on May 19, 2008, the USC&A will host its Summer Programs including trips, concerts, and discounted tickets for summer students, faculty, and staff. There is something for everyone and we hope to see you around this summer while you're on campus!
Wednesday Wanderings Concert Series
When: Every Wednesday starting May 21 from Noon – 1 p.m
Where: On the Commons Plaza (Commons Underground in case of inclement weather)
Wednesday Wanderings Concert Series is back for another summer of great entertainment, featuring Richmond's finest talents! Every week features a different local band, genre of music and a different, Free lunch!
Ticket Giveaways and Discounts!
Sports fans, theatre goers and thrill seekers alike will be happy to know that Summer Programs include giveaways and discounted tickets. Each week Richmond Braves and Richmond Kickers fans can receive free tickets to the games (limit one free ticket per VCU I.D.). We are also offering discounted tickets to a number of performances at the Landmark Theatre. Those less interested in live performance may purchase discounted Regal Cinema tickets for $2! Finally, if you love a good loop-d-loop, the USC&A Summer Programs is offering discounted Kings Dominion tickets to students, faculty, and staff!
Fun Summer Getaways!
Being in a classroom for 20+ hours a week can make anyone a bit antsy. Fortunately, inexpensive trips have been planned for students, faculty and staff! Hop on a bus and take a trip to Virginia's most popular wineries to sample reds and whites and some delicious cheese. VCU also has a trip planned for a day at Busch Gardens! Is it time to put together your back-to-school threads? Take a road trip with us to the King of Prussia mall in Pennsylvania for an all day shopping extravaganza. There will be one trip a month and you can register in the Student Commons and at Hunton Student Center.

Want to make a Few Bucks? Faculty, staff and the Richmond Community can register for one or two tables at VCU's largest yard sale: Trash-4-Cash! Any items not sold may be taken away for free by a local thrift store.
