The Event Planning office staff assists users in reserving facilities and arranging for other services. Event spaces, including audio-visual support, are available to student groups, VCU departments and, on a limited basis, individuals and non-university groups.
Please use these pages if you are planning a standard meeting in one of the meeting rooms in a USC&A-managed facility or in a University classroom on weekends. Most meeting rooms and classrooms are "smart" rooms with computer/audio/visual systems built into the spaces. If you are planning events such as banquets, conferences, social events, speakers and information fairs, please visit the event planning tab to submit your event request.
The USC&A staff provides event advising for VCU student organizations on logistical, financial, and promotional aspects of event planning. Student organizations reserving space through USC&A for an event deemed "complex" will be assigned an Event Planner by Events Services. Students who have been assigned to meet with an Event Planner may make contact via e-mail to set up an appointment.
Conference Services at Virginia Commonwealth University is dedicated to providing complete conference coordination and service to a diverse group of clients and guests from the University, state, national, and international communities.
