Summer Programs are provided for registered VCU summer students, MCV campus graduate and professional students, and VCU faculty and staff during the summer months (May – August) each year.
Wednesday Wandering Concert Series
This weekly outdoor concert series provides students with a midday break of good music and good food.
Craft Lunches
These all-inclusive "drop-in" craft lunches are designed to allow students to quickly and easily create something that could be used to spruce up their apartment or gain the favor of their best friend.
Trash-4-Cash Yard Sale
This super-sized yard sale is open to VCU students, faculty, staff, and Richmond community members. Participants register ahead of time to reserve a table. Tables are free for VCU students, $5 for VCU faculty/staff, and $10 for community members.
Discounted Summer Trips
A great way to take a summer vacation while taking classes and living on a tight budget. Possible destinations include New York City, The Outer Banks, Busch Gardens, Six Flags, and many more.
VCU in the City Programs
In an effort to better integrate VCU students into the surrounding Richmond community, this series provides students with discounted (sometimes free) tickets or trips to the Richmond Kickers, Richmond Braves, Regal Cinemas, and much more.
