Student Organizations

VCU has more than 400 registered student organizations in which students can be involved. Whether your interest is student government, campus programming, fraternity and sorority life, professional development, political involvement, recreation or religious activity, community service or student media, there are other students with similar goals who are anxious for you to join their pursuits.

Student Programming

Participating in activities and programs around campus will enhance your college experience! VCU and the USC&A offer a plethora of fun events throughout the entire year, and we encourage you to come out and experience the fun.

Fraternity & Sorority Life

Joining a fraternity or sorority at VCU can definitely enhance your college experience. From finding a social niche, helping you reach your academic goals, or helping our community, membership in a fraternity or sorority adds an element to the college experience for which there is no substitute. At VCU, we offer a diverse mix of fraternities and sororities with the hopes that everyone who wants to join a group finds one that closely matches their values and personalities.

USC&A provides a host of programs that aid in the growth of students interested in leadership roles in VCU student organizations and communities. Programs include USC&A Student Organization Officer Training, Leadership Series, Leadership and Service Awards, and the "Who's Who Among Students at American Universities and Colleges.

Volunteer Opportunities

USC&A offers many opportunities for students to participate in community service through both individual and group activities. Programs are offered through the year, and service organizations are always active.
